1. JOB POSTING RULES
 

Before creating a Job post you must first read and agree to the Job Posting Rules outlined below:

 

1.) Compulsory Fields- Fill out the submission form provided, completing all fields marked with an asterisk *.

2.) Payment- All jobs posted should be paid. However, in the case of low budget, non-commercial, student productions or internships/work experience Industry Networker strongly advises the payment of expenses and the offer of agreements to 'unpaid' workers. Note: We do not accept postings for unpaid jobs that do not cover expenses or offer agreements.

3.) Legalities- Please be aware of your legal responsibilities relating to the minimum wage, limits on work experience hire, insurance, health and safety and discrimination.

4.) Do not post in ALL CAPS or HTML format- Any Titles or Post Content written in all capital letters or HTML format will be deleted.

5.) Adult Content- we do not accept job postings for work that is deemed 'adult' in nature.

6.) English only- all content must be written in English.

7.) Discrimination- Industry Networker is committed to the promotion of equal opportunities, and to the fair and courteous treatment of all site members.We ask you to abide by anti-discrimination laws when writing your post.We are not allowed by law to accept any job postings that specify a particular racial or ethnic group, age or gender, except for:

  • Casting actors or particular performers.

Submission Form 1st Page- Project Details:

 

Vacancy Type: Specify the type either 'Job' (paid/ unpaid), 'Casting' (paid /unpaid performance work) or 'Intern' (internship or work experience- expenses must be paid.)

 

Project Type: Specify the type of project i.e. comedy, short film, live event etc.

 

Location: Make it clear where you are located and where shoots, rehearsals or performances (if relevant) will take place.

 

Project Description: Please include details about your company, project synopsis, project aims and other relevant information. You can then fill out specific role/job descriptions in the next step. Include information about yourself / your company. To attract the most skilled applicants, outline your experience/ previous credits. Highly skilled applicants wish to work with similarly experienced companies/ directors etc.

 

Expiry Date: Your posting will automatically expire in two weeks, unless you modify it or the application closing date you set is sooner than the automated expiry date.

 

Expenses and Agreements: when you select one or more of the tick boxes next to Expenses or Agreements, you agree that you will honour the expenses or agreements you guaranteed at the time of the job posting. These are detailed below:

 

Expenses:

Food provided/ allowance- you agree to provide food to paid or unpaid workers, or a food allowance.

 

Travel provided/ allowance- you agree to provide travel to paid or unpaid workers, or a travel allowance.

 

Accommodation provided/ allowance- you agree to provide accommodation for paid or unpaid workers, or an accommodation allowance.

 

Relevant production/ equipment costs- you agree to cover relevant professional equipment/ production costs for paid or unpaid workers.

 

Agreements:

Contract- you agree to offer paid or unpaid workers a contract.

 

Insurance- you guarantee the production/ project is insured.

 

Profit share- you agree to share the profits made with paid/ unpaid workers.

 

TFP / CD (time for print / CD)- you agree to supply paid/ unpaid workers with a print or CD copies of their work (time for print) i.e. music/ photos.

 

Copy of completed film / recording supplied OR Copy of artist's rushes / recordings supplied-

As the Job Poster you agree you will provide The Artist with a physical Copy (in the format of a DVD/CD-ROM) of the Project within 30 days of completion of post-production. If the project fails to complete post-production, you agree to provide the Artist with a physical Copy (in the format of a DVD/CD-ROM) of the Artist's work (as either raw or edited footage) within 6 months of the date of job's completion.

 

Submission Form 2nd Page- Specific Roles/ Jobs:

 

Specific Role/Job Descriptions: these are detailed in the 2nd step of the submission form. Be specific in your role descriptions about what you require i.e. applicants with training in a particular area, characteristics particular to a role, particular skills and experience etc.

 

Payment: State explicitly what payment you are offering.

 

Time Required: How long will people be needed for? Please specify the number of hours, days weeks or months applicants will be required i.e: 2 days.

 

Full/ Partial Nudity: you must indicate if a casting requires nudity.

 

Applications to Postings:

All applications made to your posting will be sent directly to your email account via our messaging system. Your email address will remain private (unless included in your posting.) Applications sent will include the required form and a link to the applicant's profile.
